Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rainbow Sort collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the game through Pi Browser or a compatible web browser. The policy follows the same user-first approach used across Portal Pi apps: collect only what is needed to operate the service, keep payment flows transparent, and avoid requesting unnecessary personal information.
1. Information we collect
When you use Rainbow Sort, we may process the following limited information:
- Pi account information: your Pi username and basic authentication data returned by the Pi Network SDK after you choose to connect with Pi.
- Gameplay data: score, moves, solved levels, leaderboard entries, booster inventory, and similar game progress information.
- Payment data: Pi payment identifiers, payment status, selected booster pack, amount, and technical confirmation data required to approve and complete Pi payments.
- Technical data: browser/device information, app status, request logs, timestamps, and error/debug information used to keep the game stable and secure.
2. How we use information
We use the information above only for practical game and account functions, including:
- connecting your Pi account to the game;
- saving scores, leaderboard results, boosters, and game progress;
- processing, validating, approving, completing, or cancelling Pi payments;
- preventing abuse, fake payments, duplicate rewards, unauthorized access, or manipulation of score/payment data;
- debugging technical issues and improving game performance on mobile devices.
3. Pi Network authentication and payments
Rainbow Sort uses the Pi Network SDK for login and Pi payments. Payment approval and completion are verified through backend endpoints before boosters or paid features are credited. We do not ask for, collect, or store your Pi wallet passphrase, private keys, seed phrase, or any sensitive wallet credentials.
4. Local storage and cookies
The game may use local browser storage or similar browser features to keep temporary gameplay state, login state, settings, or pending transaction references. This helps the game continue to work smoothly inside Pi Browser. You can clear local browser data from your browser settings, but doing so may reset local game state.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only when necessary with infrastructure providers, technical service providers, Pi Network payment/authentication systems, or when required by law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
6. Data retention
Gameplay, leaderboard, user, and payment records may be kept for as long as needed to operate the game, maintain purchase history, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with applicable obligations, and keep the leaderboard functional. Debug logs may be rotated or deleted periodically.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the game and its backend. No online service can be guaranteed to be fully secure, so users should also protect their own Pi account, device, and browser environment.
8. Children
Rainbow Sort is not intended for users who are not allowed to use Pi Network or online payment-enabled services under the rules applicable to them. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided information improperly, they should contact the app owner so the issue can be reviewed.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, Pi payment flow, technical infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
10. Contact
For privacy questions, account questions, payment issues, or data-related requests, contact the Rainbow Sort / Portal Pi app owner through the official support channel used for the app.
